This series of postcards is based off of the book A Natural and Civil History of California, which was printed in Spain in 1759. There are in total ten double sided postcards, each representing a category from Aritstotle’s Organon. Within these categories the postcards focus on the themes of discovery, exploration, and colonization, both in relation California’s colonization by the Spanish centuries ago and its newer, present-day suburban conquerors.
